Sunsynk's 51.2V LiFePO₄ battery range is built for South African solar and backup installations — whether you're running fully off-grid, using a hybrid system with grid backup, or simply want dependable power through load shedding without the generator. Lithium iron phosphate chemistry is what makes these last. Both models are rated for 6000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, engineered for daily cycling across many years rather than occasional emergency duty. LiFePO₄ is also the most thermally stable and safest of the common lithium chemistries, which matters for a battery installed in your home or premises. Both share the same 51.2V platform and a wide 44.8V to 56.16V operating range. The 5.12kWh model delivers 100Ah with nominal 50A charge and discharge, suiting essential-load backup and smaller solar systems. The 10.49kWh model delivers 205Ah with nominal 102.5A, enough to support high-demand appliances and carry a typical household through extended outages. Maximum current on both runs up to roughly 1C depending on factory configuration. Either model scales to 15 units in parallel — up to 76.8kWh or 157kWh respectively — so a system can start modestly and grow as budget and demand allow. Integration is straightforward. CAN, RS485, RS232 and Wi-Fi communication support compatible hybrid inverters from major brands, while an onboard SOC status indicator and LED display show state of charge at a glance without opening an app. An IP65 protection rating and a discharge temperature range from −15°C to 50°C suit indoor and sheltered outdoor installations, and both mount on a floor stand or on the wall to suit the available space.
