This is the complete, ready-to-install ET Nice Drive 500 kit for residential sliding gates up to 500 kg. Everything needed to automate a standard home gate comes in one box: the Drive 500 motor, 4 metres of steel rack, two TX4 four-button remotes and a 12V SLA battery. The Drive 500 is designed, manufactured and supported in South Africa by ET Nice, with more than 30 years of local gate automation experience and local parts and support behind it. The motor runs directly from its battery, with mains power keeping it charged. When the power goes off, the gate carries on as normal, delivering up to 100 operations in the first 24 hours of a power failure, enough to see a household through extended load-shedding. The kit is lithium ready. It ships with a sealed lead acid (SLA) battery, and the system supports upgrading to a lithium battery later, a worthwhile option for households that want longer battery life through regular load-shedding. A high-speed motor moves the gate at up to 28 m/min, and removable brushes keep servicing quick and inexpensive. Advanced electronics with a large backlit display make programming, diagnostics and fault reporting straightforward for your installer. The supplied steel rack gives a strong, durable drive surface for gates at the heavier end of the Drive 500's range.
