Each 2" H13 hybrid filter combines half True HEPA and half activated carbon media in a single cartridge, so one filter handles particulate capture and odour control together rather than requiring separate stages. The H13-grade True HEPA section captures up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust, pet dander, smoke and other allergens. The commercial grade activated carbon section adsorbs a broad range of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odours — the gaseous pollutants that particulate filtration can't touch. An antimicrobial treatment is built in, protecting against the growth of odour and stain-causing microorganisms on the filter itself. Each hybrid filter is paired with a separate pre-filter that catches larger particulate before it reaches the main media, extending the working life of the filters behind it. Supplied as a 2-pack containing 2 hybrid filters and 2 pre-filters, with an estimated one-year filter life depending on usage conditions. Fellowes recommends genuine branded filters only — off-brand alternatives can damage the unit, compromise stated performance, and void the purifier's warranty.
