The genuine Fellowes replacement filter for the AeraMax Pro AM 2 air purifier. This is the standard filter configuration for the unit, combining half True HEPA and half activated carbon media in a single cartridge — so one filter handles both particulate capture and odour control rather than requiring two separate stages. The True HEPA section captures 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, ragweed and other allergens, viruses, germs, dust mites, mould spores, pet dander and cigarette smoke. The activated carbon section tackles odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) — the sources of stale air that particulate filters alone can't address. An antimicrobial treatment is built into the HEPA media, giving ongoing protection against the growth of odour-causing bacteria, mildew and fungi on the filter surface. That means the filter doesn't become a source of odour itself as it loads up over its service life. Rated for approximately one year of filter life depending on use and conditions. Replacing filters on schedule is what keeps an air purifier performing to specification — a clogged or expired filter reduces airflow and undermines the whole system. Supplied as a single filter.
