The Samsung AC160BNCDEH/AF is a 16kW underceiling air conditioner from Samsung's Commercial Air Conditioning range, designed for spaces where ceiling void is limited or a cassette simply isn't practical — retail floors, workshops, classrooms, restaurants, showrooms and converted commercial buildings with exposed or solid ceilings. Mounted flush beneath the ceiling, the slim 235 mm deep indoor unit projects conditioned air along the length of the room, giving even coverage across large open areas from a single point. Four Sirocco fans move up to 34 CMM on high while keeping sound down to 46/42/38 dBA across the three fan speeds, so the unit works comfortably in occupied commercial spaces. The matched AC160BXADGH/AF outdoor unit runs a Twin BLDC Rotary compressor on R410A refrigerant with electronic expansion valve control, delivering variable output from 3.8 kW right up to 16.0 kW cooling and 20.0 kW heating. That turndown means the system modulates to match actual load rather than cycling hard on and off, and it holds performance across a wide operating envelope — cooling from -15°C and heating from -20°C ambient. Long pipe runs of up to 75 m and 30 m height difference give installers real flexibility on outdoor unit placement. SmartThings app support comes as standard, with an optional WiFi kit for full connected control and monitoring.
