The Midea 90cm Curved Glass Wall Extractor makes a genuine design statement above the hob. A sweeping curved glass canopy set against brushed stainless steel gives it a contemporary, architectural presence, while the full 900mm width provides proper coverage over a five-burner hob or large cooking area — capturing smoke and steam from the outer zones that a 60cm hood simply misses. Control is where this model stands apart. Alongside responsive touch controls, gesture (wave) control lets you change fan speed or switch the hood on and off with a wave of your hand — no contact needed. That's a real advantage mid-cook when your hands are wet, floury or full, and it keeps fingerprints off the glass. Three fan speeds let you match extraction to what you're cooking, from light background ventilation through to full power for frying and grilling. Two 1.5W round LED lights wash the hob in clear, energy-efficient light, and two washable aluminium grease filters lift out easily for cleaning to keep performance consistent over the years. Installation is flexible. A 150mm outlet supports ducted extraction outside, or the hood can run in recirculating mode using optional activated carbon filters available from spares.
