Product Description

The Alliance FOUP-12/C Portable Aircon delivers proper heating and cooling without the cost, disruption or landlord permission of a fixed installation. Wheel it into position, vent the exhaust through a window or door, plug it into a standard socket and it's ready to run — which makes it a genuine solution for rented flats, home offices, complexes with body-corporate restrictions, or any room where a split system simply isn't practical. With 12000BTU of cooling and 10000BTU of heating, it's rated for rooms of roughly 16 to 23m² — comfortable coverage for a bedroom, home office, study or small lounge. Year-round operation means one appliance handles both the Highveld summer and cold winter mornings, rather than a fan in summer and a heater in winter. Smart control lets you run the unit from your smartphone, so you can cool a bedroom before you get home or switch the heating on before you get out of bed. Alongside that, a timer schedules operation to suit your routine, sleep mode runs quieter and more efficiently overnight, and auto swing distributes air evenly through the room. Auto restart resumes your previous settings automatically once power returns — a genuinely useful feature given the state of local supply. The unit uses R290 natural refrigerant, which has a substantially lower environmental impact than conventional refrigerants, with a small 0.25kg charge. Noise runs from 50dB(A) on low to 52dB(A) on high, and the compact 443mm-wide cabinet moves easily between rooms. Backed by a 2-year limited warranty on the unit.
